E-Senior Services provides education on elder care topics. We freely admit we don’t have all the answers, although we wish we did. Our web site educational materials and our classes are designed to be general in nature, that is, we design the content to address a wide range of typical questions for older adults and family caregivers. We cannot know your specific situation, so we do not guarantee that we have the exact answer you need personally. We hope that our classes and web information will provide information that is helpful to you and that will help point you in a direction where you may find your specific answers.

We’re constantly learning and updating our materials. We appreciate your e-mails or letters if you learn something new you wish to share with other older adults and caregivers.

Because we want our clients to have access to reputable business and products, E-Senior Services has created our Verified Service Provider directory for your use. Businesses apply to be included in our directory. With its application, each business must send photocopies of its current license and insurance policy declaration pages. Businesses also pay us a small administrative fee annually to process their applications. We verify that each business’s license is valid at the time the application is submitted and again at annual renewal, we review the application and related documentation sent to us, we ask businesses to clear up any questions we have after reviewing their paperwork and then we determine if the applicant provider of services or products seems to be reputable and appropriate for inclusion in our provider directory for the coming year.

We do not provide or control the services or products listed in our Verified Service Provider Directory, nor do we have a financial interest in those businesses (unless disclosed in the directory), so we cannot assess or guarantee the quality of the services or products mentioned on our site or in the Verified Service Provider directory. We make good faith attempts to verify that the service and product providers we list are high quality, reputable providers, but we cannot guarantee the quality of their goods or services or the personnel with whom you interact. You must continue to be a careful consumer.

E-Senior Services has also created a Perks Program for the benefit of our verified service providers. Perks providers offer support services or products to our verified Verified Service Providers. We believe these providers to be reputable and to provide quality services, but we do not provide or control the service or products they offer, nor do we have a financial interest in those businesses (unless disclosed), so we cannot assess or guarantee the quality of the services or products they offer or the quality of their personnel.

If you have any major problems with a service or product provider listed on our site, in our Verified Service Provider directory or in our Perks program, please let us know. While we cannot resolve your dispute with the provider, we will investigate to determine whether we feel the provider is still appropriate for our programs.

You will see banner ads on our site or in our newsletter or other publications (boxes of various shapes containing company logos and contact information). Businesses pay us for these ads. Their advertising fees help support our web site and our educational efforts and we thank those businesses for their support. Again, we accept advertising only from businesses we believe to be reputable, but we do not provide or control the services or products those businesses advertise, nor do we have a financial interest in those companies, so we cannot guarantee the quality of their products, services or personnel.

To determine whether events are appropriate for our events calendar.
To determine which news or blog articles are appropriate for publication on our site and to edit submissions.

To determine the content of our educational presentations.
